Book Cover

This book cover is a redesign of a real book called “The History of Jazz” by Ted Gioia. The type of microphone on the cover is easily relatable to jazz from the 1920s onward. The cover was made in Adobe Illustrator. The font type used for the title and author’s name was Bodoni 72 and the type used for the quote on the front and the information on the back was Avenir. The color of the background is light blue and the color for the title is yellow with a hint of orange.
